'Makeover'!
'Makeover'! many girls repeated a few days to the show. The thought of the
first 1000 girls in attendance receiving Goody bags, spurred most of them to
action as the program which had been scheduled for 5pm, was crowded at about
3pm.The purple-colored event was intriguing as various speakers from the HOUSE
OF TARA FOUNDATION, came up to speak to the young minds on the value of
learning various skills ranging from hair-dressing, makeup, fashion-designing,
catering and so on. Also, the fact that it was stressed that a University certificate
was not as important as it seemed in the corporate world, sent most students
jumping and jostling with delight.
Due to the
fact that the number of girls in attendance was enormous, the agenda for the
show was changed every now and then, to the disappointment of the students.
Also, the students were given a piece of paper each, which would be the ticket
to receiving their prizes. This got the girls so excited, that they were all
glued to their seats. However when the program came to an end without any
prizes, everyone left, disappointment written on their faces. 'How could a big
show as this be this rowdy and unorganized'? Many were heard saying.
